Call it an occupational hazard that a criminal’s world can come crashing down in the blink of an eye.
Even so, the exposure this weekend of a Virginia man with a liking for bird’s eye views was nothing if not a bolt from the blue.
Brian Anthony Joe was busted Saturday in spectacular fashion when he fell through the ceiling of a women’s locker room at a gym in Virginia, landing on an unlucky lady below before being cornered by horrified patrons.
The 41-year-old Woodbridge man was allegedly spying on women changing at Onelife Fitness in Stafford around 1:15 p.m. when he came crashing through the ceiling, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.
“The suspect fell on a woman below,” the sheriff’s office wrote. “The female was checked for injuries by rescue personnel at the scene, but she was not transported [to hospital].”
Joe fell approximately 10 feet but was not injured.
He was then detained by patrons at the gym until police arrived, authorities said.
Joe was charged with burglary, vandalism and three counts of peeping or spying into a building.
He was being held without bond at the Rappahannock County Jail.
