The 187-foot-tall observation wheel is among the largest attractions of its kind in North America.
Police began investigating the Harmons on Jan. 12 after finding videos online of the couple having sex in public.
One clip from Jan. 2 shows the pair having sex inside one of SkyWheel’s 42 glass gondolas in full view of the public, according to court records cited by the newspaper.
Another video shows the unabashed duo having sex and committing other lewd acts last month in a community pool in Horry County, CBS17 reported.
During the latter incident, Lori also allegedly urinated on two vending machines.
The Harmons are also accused of shooting a third video in December in Murrells Inlet, in which Lori allegedly exposes herself and urinates inside a public elevator.
The couple were arrested Saturday and each charged with indecent exposure and participation in the preparation of obscene material.
Lori faces an additional charge for malicious injury to personal property.
Both were released Sunday – the wife on $18,000 bond and the husband on $14,000 bond.
Representatives of SkyWheel released a statement condemning the Harmons’ suspected activities.
“SkyWheel Myrtle Beach prides ourselves in providing a safe, family friendly attraction and atmosphere,” the statement read. “This incident that we are just becoming aware of is extremely disturbing. We have not been notified yet from the authorities regarding this incident, but are ready to cooperate in any way we can.
“These actions do not reflect our values, and we do not tolerate any behavior that does not coincide with our family friendly environment.”
