Indiscreet Florida pair charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition after “many drivers” saw them “having intercourse.”
Sometimes it really is hard to hide in plain sight.
An unrestrained Florida couple have landed themselves in the slammer for having sex at the side of a busy road in full view of passing motorists.
Amber Gormley, 39, and Shawn McClelland, 30, were seen by “many drivers” as they got frisky Saturday afternoon in Largo, a city in the Tampa Bay area, according to a felony criminal complaint obtained by The Smoking Gun.
The indiscreet couple were spotted around 2.45 p.m. in an “open area location of a busy area where all drivers could see them having intercourse,” police said.
One driver reported seeing the dexterous McClelland performing oral sex on his partner and engaging in certain penetrative acts with his finger, according to the complaint.
Following the pair’s arrest, McClelland reportedly “confirmed he had oral sex and used his fingers.” “According to both parties” the sexual activity “was all consensual,” police said.
Gormley and McClelland were charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition, a felony, and booked into the county jail on $10,000 bond. McClelland faces an additional misdemeanor charge of possession of synthetic marijuana.
Gormley’s lengthy rap sheet includes convictions for theft, narcotics possession and possession of burglary tools. She also faces a pending charge of possession of methamphetamine, The Smoking Gun reported.
McClelland was convicted in 2018 on a misdemeanor theft charge for stealing cat litter and peppermint tea from a Walmart, according to the outlet.
