A Florida man was jailed on Halloween night for pulling a gun on another man who told him he had a small penis, police said.
Dustin Allen Kouns, 21, was revving his Jeep’s engine in Key West traffic on Oct. 31 when another driver, Toby Keaton, stepped out of his own vehicle and said to Kouns, “You must have a small d—,” the Florida Keys Keynoter reported.
An aggrieved Kouns, who is listed as a student in the police report, allegedly responded to the insult by whipping out his 9-millimeter Smith & Wesson handgun.
Keaton told police that the two exchanged words over the engine rev, but didn’t say whether he cast aspersions on the magnitude of the student racer’s member.
Kouns claimed to officers that he was in fear of his life at the time of the confrontation and only pulled the weapon to protect himself.
He was formally charged with three felonies: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and dealing in stolen property, according to the Keynoter. He was also charged with driving without a valid license, a misdemeanor.
Kouns was released from the county jail on Stock Island on Nov. 3 after posting a $32,500 bond.
