Missouri woman fatally shoots ex-girlfriend’s new fiancée: charges

Kenrianna Little is accused of slaying Marilyn Taylor a day after the smitten couple announced their engagement on social media.

Police in Missouri are hunting for a woman accused of fatally shooting her ex-girlfriend’s new fiancée just a day after the happy couple announced their engagement.

Kenrianna L. Little, 24, was charged Monday with first-degree murder in the Sunday killing of 52-year-old Marilyn Taylor, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Taylor and Little’s ex-girlfriend, Reioinnie Hood, had announced their engagement on Facebook on Saturday, according to the charges.

But along with the expected wave of congratulatory messages, the couple’s public commitment also prompted a slew of threatening phone calls and messages from Little, police said.

Little allegedly showed up unannounced at the couple’s home in Florissant, in Greater St. Louis, on Sunday with a male accomplice.

Authorities say the spurned former lover knocked on the door, calling out “maintenance.” When Taylor opened the door, Little allegedly shot her multiple times.

Little and the man she was with fought with Hood in the entryway, forcing her out of the home.

Little’s unidentified male sidekick then allegedly shot Taylor several more times before the trigger-happy pair made their getaway in a black sedan.

No arrests had been announced in the case by Thursday morning.

Bail for Little has been set at $1 million, cash only.
