A horrified plane passenger woke up mid-flight to find a pastor peeing all over her, leaving a puddle of urine on the seats.
Alicia Beverly told WJBK she dozed off in the backseat of a red-eye flight Monday from Las Vegas to Detroit only to be roused from her slumber by a strange sensation.
“It felt warm, like on the side of me I felt something warm,” Beverly said.
But she was taken aback when she opened her eyes to find another passenger relieving himself on her.
“I jump up and I see his private area out and I screamed, and that woke everybody up,” Beverly said.
“By that time, I actually looked at him and I see him shake himself off, and I’m like, this man just peed on me! I looked and there was a puddle of pee in the seats.”
As other passengers rushed to Beverly’s aid, an off-duty cop onboard restrained the man, whom WJBK identified as a well-known pastor from North Carolina.
But Beverly was forced to sit in her urine-soaked clothes for hours until the plane landed.
When they touched down in Detroit, the peeing pastor was taken into custody, although he is yet to be charged.
Representatives of the unidentified man reportedly claimed that he had suffered a bad reaction to sleep aid medication, and Beverly confirmed that he “didn’t say anything the whole time he was standing there.”
Beverly has been left badly shaken up by the shocking incident.
“I left work yesterday because I couldn’t stay, but I had to tell them why I needed to leave,” she told the news station.
“It was a lot. My anxiety was really high literally. Since then I have only gotten four hours of sleep.”
