Radical ‘Zizian’ Cult Leader Busted – Accused of Running Deadly Anarchist Ring

Transgender cult mastermind Jack "Ziz" LaSota was apprehended in Maryland, along with two followers.

Transgender cult mastermind Jack “Ziz” LaSota was apprehended in Maryland, along with two followers.

The alleged ringleader of a violent, cult-like vegan transgender group has been nabbed in Maryland and is being held without bail, as authorities link the group to at least six grisly murders across the country.

Jack “Ziz” LaSota, 34, who identifies as a woman, was arrested alongside two devoted followers, Michelle Zajko, 33, and Daniel Blank, 26, in a dramatic takedown in Frostburg, Maryland. The trio was charged with trespassing, obstruction, and illegal firearm possession, but investigators believe LaSota is the dangerous mastermind behind the shadowy group known as the Zizians.

LaSota appeared via video link in court on Tuesday, protesting her innocence and insisting, “I shouldn’t be here; I haven’t done anything wrong.” But the judge wasn’t buying it. Citing LaSota as a serious flight risk and a public threat, Judge Erich Bean denied bail, ensuring the accused leader stays locked up as the investigation unfolds.

The Zizians, described as an insular collective of radicalized young intellectuals, have been linked to a string of violent killings spanning Vermont, Pennsylvania, and California.

The most shocking incident? The execution-style murder of Border Patrol agent David Maland, 44, in northern Vermont last month. Maland was shot dead during a traffic stop near the Canadian border on January 20. The alleged shooter, Teresa “Milo” Youngblut, 21, was injured in the confrontation and is now facing federal firearms charges.

Authorities say the killing was no random act—Youngblut is a die-hard Zizian and part of their extremist movement, which blends gender ideology, artificial intelligence theories, and militant veganism into a dangerous cocktail of anarchist violence.

Another Zizian, 22-year-old Maximilian Snyder, is accused of the brutal January 17 murder of 82-year-old landlord Curtis Lind in Vallejo, California. Lind had been trying to evict Zizian members from his property and had previously survived a violent attack by the group, which left him partially blinded.

Adding to the horror, Zajko—the woman arrested alongside LaSota—is now under investigation for the 2023 slayings of her own parents in Pennsylvania.

The Zizians, who largely operate online, are notorious for their cryptic manifestos, anti-establishment rhetoric, and writings on AI-driven revolution. Their leader, LaSota, has been described as a “guru-like figure,” attracting disillusioned young people into the movement with a mix of radical ideology and high-level computer science expertise.

Authorities are still piecing together the full extent of the cult’s activities, but one thing is clear—this is no ordinary fringe group. With multiple murders, a complex web of followers, and a leader now behind bars, the Zizians are officially on America’s radar.

Now, the nation waits to see if justice will finally be served.
