Shopper busted for taking cheeky dip in store aquarium

Opportunistic Louisiana man charged with criminal damage after swimming fully clothed in giant fish tank at outdoor recreation store.

Temperatures may be soaring in some parts, but sometimes it’s best to keep a cool head.

The latter certainly wasn’t managed by a Louisiana man who felt compelled to take a refreshing dip in a gigantic fish tank at an outdoor recreation store – and must now face the consequences.

Kevin Wise, 26, has been charged with simple criminal damage to property following his cheeky swim Thursday at a Bass Pro Shops in Bossier City, news station KTAL-TV reported.

Video posted to social media shows a fully clothed Wise serenly swimming with the fish in the indoor aquarium before clambering out and making a soggy dash for it out of the store.

“This is interesting,” said Treasure McGraw, the shocked fellow customer who filmed the crazy incident.

Wise was arrested after returning to the store and released with a citation to appear in court, authorities said.

He will clearly now need to consider changing his name to something more suitable.
