An ex-con busted an NYPD cop’s head open with a bottle on a Brooklyn sidewalk before allegedly yelling “I’m going to kill you all!” as he was arrested.
The officer’s bodycam caught the shocking moment suspect Tyshaun Holloway, 29, approached early Sunday morning and swung the glass bottle, leaving his uniformed victim requiring surgical staples and stitches to close the gashes to his head and neck.
The NYPD released footage of the appalling attack on its social media accounts Monday.
Hollaway, who has prior arrests for assaults on NYPD officers, walked up to the on-duty officer around 4.50 a.m. at the corner of E. 52nd St. and Snyder Ave. in East Flatbush.
The cop, identified in court documents as Officer David Goldman, was part of a team assigned to “a fixed post to address community concerns,” the NYPD said.
After cracking Goldman over the head, Holloway ran off pursued by the injured cop and his partner and was found a block away hiding under a car.
As the officers dragged him out to arrest him, he screamed, “Get off me, you f**king bitch, I’m going to kill you all as soon as I can,” the criminal complaint alleges.
Holloway, a resident of Hackensack, N.J., was hit with a slew of charges, including felony assault and weapon possession. He was held on $30,000 bail after his arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court Sunday.
The cop-hating suspect has been charged twice before with assaulting an officer. He was handed a two-year sentence following a felony assault conviction in Manhattan in 2017, according to public records.
