Woman forces plane to land early after throwing up and stripping to her underwear

Drunk passenger took off her vomit-soaked pants, got into fight with staff, causing Texas-bound flight to divert to Alabama.

An intoxicated young woman forced a Texas-bound flight to divert to Alabama after she vomited, took off her pants, and became aggressive with passengers and staff.

Sierra Nicole McClinton, 25, caused the Houston-bound CommutAir flight from Jacksonville, Florida, to land at the Mobile Regional Airport on Thursday, after getting into an fight with another passenger, the Mobile Airport Authority Police Department said Monday.

The boozed-up passenger first threw up all over herself, prompting her to whip off her soiled pants, according to reports and an Instagram post by a man who said he was on the flight.

The by now scantily clad McClinton then got into an altercation with another female passenger, causing a flight attendant to step in and break up the fighting, Fox 10 reports.

McClinton was eventually arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication (Facebook)

McClinton, who hails from Universal City, Texas, allegedly took a swing at the flight attendant, and then had to be restrained by airline staff and other passengers until the plane landed early in Alabama.

Once on the ground, she disembarked wearing only a T-shirt and underwear, according to police.

She seemed inebriated and allegedly shouted obscenities while ignoring officers’ commands, the station reported.

After McClinton was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication, the flight continued on to Houston without further incident.

A spokesperson for CommutAir confirmed to Fox News that the woman had been on one of their flights.

“CommutAir flight 4332, operating as United Express from Jacksonville to Houston, diverted to Mobile when a passenger became disruptive,” the airline rep said. “The aircraft landed safely in Mobile where law enforcement officials met the aircraft at the gate. The flight continued on to Houston shortly after.”
